Lose Weight and Eat Pasta
Ever tried to avoid carbs in order to lose weight and found they still follow you everywhere you go? At my favorite restaurant, the fettuccine on the menu taunts me; at my friend’s baby shower, the sandwich platter beckons much louder than the mixed greens. And in a business meeting, the cookies distract me. Whether it’s a basket of warm bread, a tasty pasta or tantalizing desserts, carbs can be hard to quit.
Thankfully, you don’t have to. Despite their reputation for helping pack on the pudge (remember Dr. Atkins?), certain carbs can actually help you feel fuller longer and fight fat. The key? Fiber—found in whole grains, oats, certain legumes and even popcorn! When people follow a high-fiber diet—at least 34 grams of fiber a day—they absorb up to 6 percent fewer calories, research shows.

Fat Loss Food - No Point Buying Them.
A recent report from a consumer watchdog goes as far as to say that most food labeled as ‘fat loss’ are in fact as fattening as the normal fare.
A wide range of foods from well known labels were found to offer little or no benefit as compared to the regular fare found on shelves.
Nikki Ratcliff, head of services research at Which?, said: “If you’re looking for a New Year quick-fix to shed a few pounds, weight-loss products aren’t the answer.”

I supposed many of us have known this all along. Nothing beats your daily diet consisting of a lot of natural high fiber and low fat food. Foods like carrots, radish, cabbage, cucumbers and garlic are great. So is fish as your protein source with egg white and naturally grown poultry products.
As for your drink, water outshines them all as a great natural fat loss booster. If you drink enough water every day, you will begin to lose weight.

Beware Of ‘Quack’ Foods That Promise Fat Loss
Consumers are wasting billions of pounds on ‘quack’ foods that promise to help them lose weight, a nutritional expert has warned - Daily Telegraph
A recent article in the British Medical Journal by Prof Michael Lean of the University of Glasgow warns of the millions of dollars that is being wasted by consumers who purchase ‘low fat’ foods.
He said “marketing foods as ‘low fat’ and ‘helps lower cholesterol’ have to be substantiated under current rules and labeling foods as preventing or treating disease is illegal, but ‘huge numbers’ of such claims are still being made overtly or implied.”
He went on to say that “only appropriate diets, exercise, licensed drugs such as orlistat and sibutramine along with bariatric surgery which includes stomach stapling and gastric bands, are safe and effective.”
Without doubt, I must agree with what the Prof says.
Also to be borne in mind is the fact that there are people out there who somehow assume that by making up their meal with a few of these foods, they are going to loose weight.
Adding on a Diet Coke and requesting for low fat cheese on your double cheeseburger is not going to help you loose weight.
The only way is to get on to a diet plan, get some exercise, set your goal to succeed in your plan to dump that weight and believe in yourself.
